This 1930's sheet music cover illustration forms the basis for the 6"x6''scene with all components recast with precise cutting of of 1930's fabric prints to form the colored illustration. The background is the author's handwriting of his classic book, Alice in Wonderland. This is one of three styles of collage that I enjoy creating and animating from basic vintage illustration to vibrant full-color scene.
